From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    stock h22 with water/meth injection on boost

    i want to discuss running a water/meth injection kit on a h22 for now, so i have a boosted car this summer. i will eventually build up the h22 in the winter. so any thoughts on this?

    plans

    jdm h22 10.6 cr
    holset hx35 turbo
    running 10psi.
    using water/meth injection
    miss my turbo cb7
    moved onto volvos. dont know how that happened, just did

      back from basic.... off to ait.... CB still being worked on i have mad plans for it .. sorry cant tell its on the hush hush for now but all i can say in somewhere around 500 hp soon to come..

            Bak on Subject...I dont ahve any direct input on the meth injection. I know it weas used a lot back in the day on the old dragsters and it prooved itself worthy.

            Were you going with the AEM kit or what?

              Well why not go with the kit from coolingmist trunkmount kit. Its a progressive kit which works perfectly for your setup. It reads off how much boost your running before its activated and reads off of boost and your tps voltage.

              I think its good for a boosted setup the more colder air for that turbo the better. And it steamcleans that motor to make sure its running more user friendly providing that you take care of it.

                aem kit since i could get it at a employee price at my store. plus no shipping, my store got one sitting there

                  10psi should be no problem with water/meth injection on a stock h22. I've installed quite a few of the AEM kits, they're work well and are reliable.

                  The first one I did was on a Saab 9-3 Aero, came on from 10-18psi, made an extra 40whp without additional tuning and intake temps are much lower even in 115 degree weather.

                  I plan to run this same kit on my car once I'm turboed

                    As stated, you should be fine. Just be careful with the tune, and always be sure that you have it to use in the reservoir. Nothing like being tuned for it, and it running out.
