Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

yes you will also need a good clutch and fuel pump is recommended.

before anything you need to figures out what your goal is for the car, what WHP ETC....

That obx manifold is pretty fuckin tits..the manifold design itself fails horribly..since its a pretty restrictive log manifold..with some primaries..for that id use the cast iron log..

I love how they made it into a "header downpipe"..

Only positive I see with that is..if the turbo every fucks up..slap a regular header and bam.. back to all motor till the problem is solved..

And yeah..extracting every ounce of power out of gdout90s car. I ended up having to send him precision 780s..as the 560s weren't cutting it..

Deside your whp goal..and your overall goal for the car..and then we can further help you from there..and weither or not your going balls out..I would replace the pump with a walbro..

and the OBX Turbo manifold looks exactly like this....except I got mine coated painted black.....I'll post pics as soon as i fine my camera charger...

what i plan to do is use a dump pipe and and a elbow, and not use the WG inlet and just Block it off cuz i can't find a dump p[ie that is a direct bolt on....I have to remove the Fan and replace my radiator for it to fit.....its looks cool but its not that good of a turbo manifold in my opinion.....personaly iu picked this cuz i don't have to end up welding my own down pipe or manifold.....I should of...lol
You just stated my point..your not boosted yet..when you are..and the car is running good..then come back to me..and lmk if you haven't become a boost addict...lol

For the time being, let's set 325WHP as my goal

          RC 750CC Injectors
          Level1.2 Bisimoto Turbo Cam
          Bisimoto Cam Gear
          Walbro 255LPH Fuelpump
          Engine Rebuild
          74mm TB
          XTR Stage3 Clutch
P06 ECU with a good tune
          Good Turbo Manifold

Without exceeding 11psi, is there anything else i would 'need' to upgrade for my goal? Possibly somthing that could break under the stress?

well bro even though and especially on ebay they state that our turbo can handle up to 350 hp witch i don't believe...yet that is...I'm planning to run a healthy setup no matter what....i don't expect high numbers but my HP goal is 200WHP I'll be running 10 psi i just checked out the Camshaft Lvl 1.2 turbo, and springs and valves from bisi and i got to say its either go big or go home.....but if your goal is 350whp, shit with the proper parts that can be done just keep in mind that our t3/t4 turbo can go out, i got a repair and rebuilt kit just in case....but hey the art of being a tuner us doing it all right....

                    Ain't that the truth haha
                    Also 200whp seems like a real little number for a turbo'd F22A at 10psi?

I realised somthing just this second.. Will i be able to retain the front torque mount? Or does it have to go.. If so, is there a mount i can install at the rear of the engine to prevent movement? I'm not running without a mount
Today i finished off rerouting the AC hoses in/out of the pump, they're clear of everything now!

Pics of ac reroute please!..would love to see how you did this

                      Also note-

That a bored out 74mm throttle body..isn't crap without a ported intake manifold..its just like crimping the end of a straw...u got one end big..but the other end is still small..no matter how much u blow air throw it..your only gonna blow what can get past that crimped part of the straw..

there is a cuztom made tq mount here on the DIY threads, its smaller and reliable it replaces your oem mount......

and 200whp is my goal, due to the fact that I have a stock cam, head and block and will be running this setup on a pretty much F22A6 Engine at 10 psi with 2.5 exhaust piping and 450cc injectors with 6.6k rev limit......if i do my setup right then I'll dyno it and if it comes out to be 200+ whp.....like 225-250 then......the more the better....lol...

but 200whp is enough for cuz i know for a fact that I'm no boost addict, I'm just in that stage like my good friend Gotzcb7 once Said, It would be nice to Beat a Rx7 with a 18 yr old car with a hiss of a turbo and a baby on board sticker with the car seat in the back........p.s the baby not in the car seat of course...lol

                          Your undershooting yourself..

that dynograph i posted on the previous page was on a ebay log manifold kit@11psi.. with a 2 1/4" exhaust with s2000 muffler(restriction much)?

so a free-flowing 2.5" exhaust... and a good tune will net you anywhere from 220-260whp dependant on how aggressive you tune it..

I'll take pics of the AC lines tomorrow, i have my part-car Accord in the shed too so i'll get original and modified pics

Surely i could find a turbo manifold that allows the torque mount to be kept? Or do they all require it to be removed..
