Turbo exhaust needs?

I have a friend at work, who's buddy has a maderal bender. He's prolly gonna do my exhaust for like 100 bux. I wanna know what all I should get..I want a nice sounding system, but one that doesn't kill my ears, like my current setup. I sorta want the sound similar to the ion redlines I work on, or the 350zs, that I hear around. Anyone got ideas? I also want a larger tip, to look correct with a buddy club rear bumper..not he big buddy club, but eventually I'll be getting that one that remains stock sized, yet from behind it's a buddy club..I forgot now where to get it..damn. Oh well, someone got a link for that too, it'd be nice..lol. Magnaflow? tips? Any ideas?

For some reason, I can't get that sound file to work..

Anywhos, this is the tip my buddy has..his is a bolra wailtail or sumthin, but this looks almost the exact same..

I loke the look of the tip. With his turbo, I was following him, nad I could barely hear him with tthat turbo blow-off sound..What else do I need for this exhaust system, besides that tip? Also, where can I get it all? if I could order it all from summit, that'd be nice..jsut to have it all done at the same time. As far as a turbo downpipe..how can I make that, and what should it have? egt port, for the egt temp sensor, o2 housing, so I move the o2 sensor up to that, instead of the current location, on the flex pipe?

nvm..i got it to work..so, y is it soo loud? I don't want something that loud..I want it quieter. My current setup is loud. Also, the only place I know of to make my a exhaust system, is car-x, right down the block from where i work..so, how much should they charge me for this setup? Also, what do I need for the downpipe? a egt fitting, and o2 fitting? What should I get for the exhaust,besides my borla boomer muffler..any resonator, or whatnot? What's the most I should pay for this setup?

you said your freind has a bender? does he have an exhaust or some form of muffler shop?

if so, let him or an expert do your work..

if your making a dp, then use the bender and make the dp, flange it and weld it all up~

do some looking into what your looking at and for~ just dont jump into something and have no clue what your doing.

find someone with a cnc machine that can machine it outta like 3/8 of 1/2 steel (somthing you can weld to).

Definately go with the mandrel bent piping. 2.5" piping is the smallest diameter that you should go with a turbo. 2.75 would be good, but also a little more expensive than 2.5" You want to look for a muffler that is specifically designed for turbo applications in order to get the most out of your system. Also I would reccomend getting stainless steel pipe for the setup for durability. If you need some, let me know.

I say go 3inch youll see more gains and a lil more noise but thats the cost of power
