Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

All you need is a manifold that doesn't put the turbo or necessary piping in the way of the AC compressor and lines.

i concur... with the right manifold and a small enough turbo you can deffinitely retain a/c. On my lil bro's Luder, we decided to pitch the A/C due to ease of instal as well as already having some parts like the turbo. If you really W to keep it, it can without a doubt be done, but if you could care less, it would be a lot easier to be able to remove it obviously...

oh and just FYI as damn near EVERYONE on this forum already knows, do NOT get that cheap ass OBX stainless mani!! my lil bros' literally split where there was SUPPOSEED to be welds!!!

You will most likely have to run a log style manifold, but that limits you and even if you do use that type of manifold chances are you will still probably have to do some modifications to make it fit.

I know someone who has a newer obx ramhorn manifold and says that the quality is ok. I still don't quite trust it because he blew the wastegate flange off the manifold when he was using anti lag!

yeah how bout the fact that my lil bro's mani had a crack in the center of the collecter BRAND NEW before it was even instslled! since then, it's craked i think 6 times! a couple times in the middle of a section of the steel and a few times on the welds and twice now the weld of the runners for cyl 1 aand 4 have completely SPLIT. so i say NEVER buy a "cheap" OBX manifold. the more expensive ones, like the $350 ramhorn mani could be better quality stainless....
