Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Good deal?

    i was just wondering if this was a good deal? a srt4 front mount intercooler, a t3 turbo from a nissian with new bearings, and a waste gate with a 4lb and 8lb spring all for $350. I don't know if this is a good deal but i think it is. i would appericiate any input on this from ppl. thanx!

    yes, jump on it. the intercooler may be a bit tricky to run pipes to, but still a great deal

      thanx! i thought it would be a good deal! time to dump some money on a turbo setup. what else do i need to get for this set up to work on my accord besides exhaust manifold, dsm 450cc injectors, and racing pipe/ intercooler piping? Do i have to have a bov? A different fuel pump? i don't know crap about turbos and i plan to do this set up by myself ''excluding making a down pipe". what type of ecu do i need to run the setup correctly. i don't plan to run over 7-8 lbs on my mostly stock engine "f22". i would appericiate any threads or links to this type of info. thanx!

        i would get a BOV but i dont think its completely necessary at low boost pressures like 8 or 9 psi, could be terribly wrong tho . . . so just get it you wont regret is

            Yes a BOV is needed even at 8 PSI. If not your gonna suffer from compressor surge. which means the excess pressure will cause the turbo to spin backwards.

            Also no you wont need a different fuel pump as long as you keep it under 10 psi

            Your gonna need a civic/teg OBD-1 ECU and then have it chipped. I can get that chipped for you pretty cheap.

            And lastly please utalize the search function. From what i've seen there's plenty of info on this site.
