obx eclipse turbo manifold?

i was just wondering if anybody has used the obx eclipse turbo manifold on their car, and if it works well. it has a lifetime warrenty on manufacturing defects. is it better made compared to the ssautocrome 4g63 manifold. anyinsight would be helpfull im trying to deterimine wether to get the ssautochrome or the obx.

it is? the one listed on ebay as a obx eclipse turbo manifold looks noting like the ssautochrome 4g63. thats why im posting this. the piping is much shorter and position way different than the ssautochrome. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33742

i think what he means is same quality between the two theres a thread in here about the ssautochrome and the flanges breaking off or something i wouldnt trust obx but thats imo

so has anyone had any problems with the obx breaking or cracking. Yeah i read the forum on how some ppl say the ssautochrome cracks were the collector is. i got everything for my turbo setup except manifold and waiting on ecu. just wanted to know more about the obx. i couldn't find much about its manifold.

i allready know all about the ssautochrome and how it broke on the d and b series. i will most likely get the ssautochrome manifold too seein how its doin fine on your turbo setup. ive searched and read many of the post under forced induction and can't really find much info on the obx eclipse manifold. if you can tell me which post is talking about the OBX manifold i would apperciate it b/c i seem to not be able to find the post about that exact manifold. ive checked the bottom of the page and found nothing about it/ serched for obx manifold and found no results.

my bad man, its on the performance tech page, and doesn't say anything about their manifold, just know that it is about the same quality as ssauto

that obx does look alot like the ssautochrome...i wouldnt get the ssautochroime simply beacuse of all the bad reviews...sure you could weld it back up but if i buy something, i want it to last me a long time before it breaks on me...the only real way to find out who good that obx manifold is, is to try it out and let us know how it is...bad thing is that if it does break obx will not replace it because it will be modified for it to fit our engines...just try placing supports on it and strengthening the welds

that collector looks like shit. imo that manifold is about as good as one of those log style manifolds. the stock dsm manifold would probably flow better than that.

y not just use 2nd gen manifold? will flow just as good if not better then ebay rice and def will be better quality.

the newer obx is redesigned. I know that the b/dseries had a lot of problems with cracking and leaking boost, so they redesigned it with heavier duty everything, and slapped a warranty on it.
