Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    i just started getting into reaserching about bov's and at a local shop "redline" in arlington they told me that the hks ssqv leaks on high psi setups like 20psi around the clip. and he also told me that the new greddy r/s is probably the best bov out right now and that he had one on a civic boosing 20 psi and it didn't leak at all. what bov do u guys think is the best. Im boosting but around 8psi now, but i want to go ahead and get somthing good for plans i have in the future! i really don't care how it sounds, i just want the best performance!

    you should be fine with a dsm 1st gen blowoff valve. i got da 1st gen blowoff valve and it sounds good.

      um..im pretty sure SSQ can handle it. a lot of the supra guys use them and they are pushing 30+psi

        gdoubt " my bads, i posted on friday before the meet that my cars tranny went out, i know it sux but thats life at least i be standard and hopefully will be getting my car back tonite!" yeah as far as i know too the ssqv is fine it just made me question if the guy was tellin the truth about it leakin at high psi
