From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    No boost and no leaks

Ive had boost this whole time and all the sudden, nothing. I have no leaks, checked multiple times and though it was the wastegate leaking or not shutting so i ordered a very nice tial wg and still nothing. shaft on turbo spins with no play and going to get mityvac to check bov but pretty sure its fine too. Just threw this on here to get some new ideas to look at, so please throw some input on. have checked everything. thanks.......

i had an issue a while back where the turbo had no shaft play but the seals were whupped enough to alow enough blow by but i was still boosting a tiny bit like 2 lbs, does it smoke blue at all?, also what all types of tests did you try so far besides new WG and BOV? have you tried pressurizing the system? or maybe you have access to a smoke buddy? good luck man, sweet ride

try checking the exhaust side of things? cracked mani, bad gaskets? if the charge side isnt leaking anywhere, ic/piping/bov , and the wastegates not the prob, id imagine its gotta be either the turbo or something on the exhaust side leaking causing it not to spool properly.

Ive looked around on the exhaust side and the manifold, looked and xlisten for leaks, i dont see any at all, i have that log style manifold, thats kinda what i though, maybe a little crack in the pipe that goes to the wastegate or gasket, but visually, everything looks fine, one of the guys helping me gave me a couple of things to try, i did unhook the vac line from the turbo to wg and still no boost, idk, thanks. ill still look for crack and so fourth on the exhaust side. you think while its running and reving it up u would see or hear something like that, a crack or bad gasket.....idk

If you want to check for exhaust leaks, seafoam works good lol.

                Does it build some boost?

No positive pressure at all, it just did it one day to without anything happening, just got in and was doing it the same day earlier, was boosting pretty descent. going to take the downpipe off tom and check the blades and shaft on that side of the turbo, the inlet side shaft spins fine and looks fine, it does have a little bit of back and fourth play on the shaft, maybe 1/8 of an inch at most if that. idk

I know its not soppose to have any play but i dont think its enough to cause no boost at all.

Shaft play sounds normal. I too had an issue similar on the old setup. All of a sudden, would hold 2-3psi only. Checked everything over and over without luck.....Finally took the down pipe off to see this.......

Only pic I have, Flex pipe collapsed to 3/4"-1" on one end choking the exhaust. Not very common I guess. Idk if you have a flex pipe, but if you do check it out. Hope it helps.

I have a few really smart guys looking at the matter, and i have never seen anything like that, thats crazy. i have my exhaust off right now so ill look while its off. they seem to think its my bov after all. no way to check it right now, went to take my exhaust off and where the 5 bolt downpipe attaches to the turbo, 2 bolts seized in it and broke off......thanks for the help...

heres another mind screw, a buddy of mine had his civic give him similar issues turns out his turbos shaft was split in two cleanly enough for the hot side to spin and the cold side to just spin off the intake suction. but yet again no boost. lol but didnt make noise right away either which is also weird. doubt thats your issue. just something else to watch for. have you tried boosting without exhaust hooked up?

Check your IM for cracked welds around the flange.
