Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Regulator, aka boost controller?
For me, I ran a t off of the brake boost boost line for vac supply for boost gauge and BOV. The WG gets vac from the compressor, and boost controller installs on the vac line going from the compressor to the WG.
Does that help? ]
The boost controller is just a controlled leak.
So, you need vac to power the WG, and say the boost controller bleeds off 20% of your vac(lets assume thats what you have it dialed in for). Lets say normally it takes 8psi of pressure to open the WG under normal conditions.
Now it will take 10psi of vac being generated to open an 8 psi actuator since 20% of your vac is being leaked. Does that make sense? Thats how a boost controller works, it tricks the WG into staying closed longer by bleeding off the vac supply. Therefore, the WG only sees what you are showing it in terms of pressure rather than whats being generated.
Boost controller=Controlled vac leak.
Can you elaborate some more? I can help resolve this, I just need to better understand what you are asking.Originally posted by wed3kim a douchebag to people and i don't even own a lambo. whats your point? we, douchbags, come in all sorts of shapes and colours.

I originally saw your images, and his post and thought they were all his post.Originally posted by illinois_erik View Posthuh? dude didnt know how to hook up the wastegate. He doesnt need a boost controller, he could just vent the top port. or if he does it like the diagrams, he could just use a cheap aquarium valve to control the WG
