From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Weird Problem, fuel...

    i was suppose to drive my car to get piping today, so i put in the injectors and the ecu last night. i have 450 blue tops and chipped p06 from eric. after i installed evrything and started my car it ran very weird .....

    1. the engine was shaking at low rpm
    2. the car would not hold idle and stall out
    3. i could not rev more then 3500
    4. in the morning my friend said two of the pistons are not firing

    any suggestions fellow turbo members

        fouled plugs? safe mode? do you have any CEL? I remember eric's map is very rich. it was a pain in the ass. do you have a wbo2 or anything?

          That's exactly, exactly what happened to me when one of my injectors crapped out on me. I bought them used off ebay so go figure one of them had to be bad. My car was really shakey and wouldnt rev up past 3500.

            hey everyone thanks for ur input. i figured everything out...
            it wouldnt rev past 3500 because it was only running on 2 cylinders, and the problem was 2 of the injectors. i pulled my fuel rail off and looked the the electric contact on the injectors which were green (oxidation). i cleaned them off and switched the order around in case that wasnt the problem. start it up and it works like a charm with the 450s in and the ecu in. so monday i get piping done and i will have dyno numbers of evo3 16g hopefully by end of next week. quick question, what is the evo3 16g set to as far as boost without mbc?

              10-12psi. I'm thinking 10psi because iamanonymous is running 10psi on his.

                Yeah, I knew it was the injectors. It is set to 10 psi. That's the turbo I'm using except mine is ported and clipped.
