stealthmode fittings??

ok so from reading threw a few threads on fittings why is it that half the people on here hate the stealthmode fitting how are they not fitting right if there made for the 14b turbo?? Also i know that someone one here found the right size fittings but i can never find that thread again so if you know what the right size is please post it in this thread. i jus dont want to buy stealthmodes kit if its as bad as alot of people are making it out to be.

just like everyone else, steve messes up sometimes, if he messes up a customers order, and the customer calls him, he will work with them in order to get it right. but i basically a WHOLE forum that uses his oil lines, and thats homemadeturbo.com, he is also a membe there, and this is how i know that he will work with ppl. his stuff if good, and i can vouche for him.

but u can always go wih tuner toys if u dont trust him, thats another good company, and one of the reps of that company is on hmt.com as well.

its not that arnt the right size or thread. its the shape of them. when we put DSM turbos on our cars, they are mounted on the manifold backwards so there is very little room. Its not his fault, its just something we have to deal with. to get around this problem i got the stock DSM oil fitting that goes into the turbo and used a flaring tool combined with a compression fitting to attach it to the steel line that is provided

i would just order one from fast=turbo.com they match shit up so much easier will alot more line if you need the room.

I had trouble with my stealthmode oil line kit. It wasn't anything about room either. The fitting was just so much smaller than the hole that it slid right in without even touching the threads. I would check somewhere else before buying stealthmode stuff.

the thread is 12mm 1.25 pitch as for steve and the products he sales most come from tuner toys so what ever the kit are high quality as far not haveing the space for the fitting is bs period mine fit fine and it was on big 16g snail if you dont trues the kits then dont buy but like someone said in a earlier post there is a whole site that uses his stuff and never have i heard that anything he sold has failed

thanks guys i never really thought about how hmt uses his kit all the time. i was jus woried that it might be a problem wit our cars but you all have cleared that up for me.

just used them on my big 16g setup, worked like a charm !!!!!
