Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    (swap)h22a auto with lsd
    dhr im/tb combo
    dhr head package including
dual valve springs, titanium retainers, dimond milling, fpr, machine big port, and valves (not shure on wat kind of valves (opinions wanted)
    dhr turbo cams
    pauter x-beam super rods
    resleaving
dhr dishtop pistons not shure on size yet still researching (would love ur opinion)
    beefier head bolts
completly upgrading the fuel system including high cc injectors
trany oil cooler(or a standerd swap not shure yet)

id like to run around 12-14 psi since the motor will be basicaly rebuilt

and maby a 75 shot or so if every thing goes well and runs good

u need a big boy lol. T3/T04e or if u got some cash for for GT35RS ballbearing, it will spool in no time and have power all the way to ur high ass h22 redline.

yeah, i run a kinda small t3 60 trim.. i love it cause its fun to drive and spools super fast... but for big power get a bigger turbo sc61 maybe? and as far as juicing with turbo, its hard enough to fuel manage with just the turbo let alone running NOS ontop of it.. i wouldnt personally recomend it.. but im sure it can be done.. good luck man

yes they are all very nice turbos. i am a big fan of garret gt ballbearing turbos as well as precision turbos such as the sc61.

I think that there's a thread somewhere on here about how to properly size a turbo for your application.

However, if you don't want to do it that way then I would simply recommend a t3/t4 50trim .48a/r. The 48 a/r will help it spool faster, although you'll loose a bit of top-end, but you'll be making very decent power with the 50 or even 57 trim compressor. And you don't really need the ballbearing center section because the displacement is high enough to have good flow at lower rpm's, especially with a ported head/increased exhaust flow.

              Good luck,

With such a large turbo I would run an external wastegate, simply because the flapper in an internal wastegate can only flow so much and then you run into problems with boost spike because the wastegate can't regulate the exhaust flow as well. Tial's 38mm wastegate is a very popular one, an should be sufficient for a street car.
