Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Manifold?

    Does anyone know if a 89 Dodge Daytona manifold will fit on our cars (f22)

    its the carol shelby version that is boosted from the factory...


    edit: someone told me it would but i dont know if it will so i just want to check with you guys...

      yea... i dont htink it would but i dont know that much about manifolds and DSMs and what fits and all that stuff... so i was just asking

        you could always measure . . . i dont know if anyone here has tried it though . . . would be another option to try though, as if DSM manifolds are rare . . .

          i dont believe so, my friends has a shelby it looks a lil diff then ours. but look into it further.

            yea my sister had one as her first car... and this kid who has a first gen. talon said that it would fit and i was like umm ok... hes like pull it off and throw it on your car and i was like umm its not that simple and i havnt researched turbo enough to boost it...

              well . . .you could just pull it off and throw it next to your engine . . . i mean if it looks close enough to fit there, then there might be some reason to investigate further

                head to your local parts store that would carry both vehicles intake maniflod gaskets, then compare them !!!!!!!
