bent turbine fins?

hah sry for the shitload of dumb questions latly but i need an opinion

somone on honda-tech is tryin to sell me a 14b in pretty good shape
but hes saying the turbine wheel has "a couple of bent fins" but saposedly its still works great and he says he has vouches that it works great. i also think he told me it was ported

should i stray away from this?

Yes.

Nothing good can come of bent turbine or compressor components. 14B's are relatively easy to find, and aren't that much to rebuild or have ported yourself.

i have WTB threads on a couple sights and ive been searchin the sales section of 6 sights for like 4-5 weeks now i found a couple but nothing good enough

if i dont find one by this weekend im goin to a junkyard

I would say a good junkyard, ebay, a DSM site or www.car-part.com.

Also id like to know how the turbine fins bent? They usually break/shear off so that worrys me?! Id just search junkyards or forums for a cheap one to rebuild if thats your style, tis what I did!

Time for a rebuild, thats why i only fuck with newer turboes less hassle able to make more power without fear of breaking them.

Bent fins/chipped fins may also mean compressor surge. Regardless, get one in new condition.
