Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

umm well depends what u want to do .....
if u want to stare at an expensive looking gauge and see ur afs change very fsat or use ur wideband productively for tuning. if its the latetr then u need one that can log to a laptop! u will see ur afs at all rpms and be able to make changes to ur fueli and timing accordingly.h23a3 cb7 turbo sold

yup!
driving and trying to look at the gauge that changes like no other is pretty hard, and plus, it takes a lot longer to tune because if you only have the gauge, you dont really know at which rpm it was rich or lean. you have to guess everything.

The zeit program is much easier to read. The only thing that the ecu's datalogging is truely good for is seeing the exact water temperature and tracing in the map where you are...other than that its just ppl wanting to be cool.Knowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word
