Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Ignition problem, I think?

Other quick question what can you guys think of that would make the car kind of buck and only want to run about 3psi? we are thinking ignition but we have changed the dizzy wires coil and plugs and still have the problem. what wierd is when you boost past 3psi starts jerking and you can see the tack jump around. I kinda think its wire related or the dizzy was a bad one. But if you guys have any ideas let me know.

I did some searching and i saw a post that talked about the knock sensor but i have an h23 and i dont think i have a knock sensor and if i did i think we can turn it off in uber so i dont think thats my problem.

Ive also herd fuel filter but it would be a problem that was always there and this is really only present when you get on it and try to push the car past 3psi.

We just changed both the regular o2 sensor and my wideband sensor $$$ and they are both reading good and not showing that the car is lean when i boost.

As for the ecu its mrx map (so you know its good)

weird thing is we srewed around with it the other night took the dizzy and all the wires off then put them back on and i took it out to see how it did and it ran great! no bucking or studdering and all the way to 6psi no problems so i came home and let my bf take it out and it started doing it to him almost immediatly. So i dunno what it is we are kinda of stumped on this one.
Any suggestions please let me know.
    Thanks

DOes sound like an intermittent wire failure.

i will try that but would it be that way in a brand new dizzy?

Anyways we got the new dizzy in and the problem seems like it has gone away for the moment. but we tested the voltage from the wire that comes from the ecu and goes to the ecu which is supposed to have 10volts and it only had 5.8 so it seems like we have a short somewhere so i guess we are gonna have to chase the wire, and speaking of wires what wire would directly effect the tack that also effects the dizzy?
