weird whine noise??

well i finished hooking up a turbo to my friends 92 accord but theres somethig that im not sure is right, now everyone knows how spool sounds but when the turbo spools theres a high pitch whine with it but were still getting all the boost from it but the whineing is just weird like you can jus rev it were it normaly wouldnt really spool up to creat boost and it will make this wine in the high rpms ( try to imagine like a very fine air leek with lots of pressure behind it) its really hard for me to explain to you guys but anyone have any ideas as to why its doin this?

Check couplers for boost leak. Check manifold for exhaust leak.

I donno what kind of whine it is, but I heard the tranny whines before it goes to shit. Have you had any type of tranny issues?

Was the turbo new?

brand new turbo no shaft play or anything has new clutch and flywheel, the fact that he is still getting all the boost leads me to think that there is nothing wrong with the turbo???

I know it's a three year old thread, but I have the same symptoms. I can hear it in the beginning of WOT spool but then it gets drowned out by the ewg. I bought mine new last may and put maybe 6k miles on it. Did you guys figure this out?

garrett t3 super 60. i think it might be a leak somewhere.

my results are not so awesome...but then again when i tuned, it was on low boost with a lot of other things compromising my power.
