Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    JDM h23a3 project complete

Hey everyone some of you saw my f22 build thread. Well my f22 blew due to tuning issue, it was set to run 26 degrees of timing at 6k rpms and it didnt like that much so i cracked the block and melted a piston. I wanted to sell my car then but I couldnt do it because I wouldnt feel right with myself leaving it like that. So i got a fresh jdm H23a3 engine mated with a f22a gearbox for my favorite long gears, converted it to external coil for it to work with stock wiring harness and she started right up again. I still have my DSM setup on it, it has been safely retuned by a good local tuner for the different engine. New 680cc injectors are in place. It runs and sounds awesome and I feel that I did a good job with it. Swap is very very clean, not single loose wire. So now it is up for sale in the classifieds, I really want it to go into good hands that will take care of it.

h23a3 are not the vtec ones. they were sold only in japan and europe in accord si-r as well as some rare preludes. i like the way this motor feels, real nice median between an f22 and an h22. i didnt get an h22 for following reasons...
          - couldnt use my turbo manifold with it
          - didnt feel like wiring and doing oil lines for vtec
          - h22 is not as boost friendly with stock internals
          - h22 also has higher compression
