    Anyone boosting and juicing?

I know that people talk about doing both, but that its not commonly done. however, as some may know, i have a nos wet kit on my car already, and im looking into a turbo kit as we speak. im also looking into new pistons and rods, etc, etc, and come this winter, i am looking forward to combining the two. i know its a little risky but i think that if i take the necessary precautions, then things should be alright. id only really use the nos with it at the track and very seldomly. i miss the sound that a turbo makes, and our passat just doesnt do it for me.
that being said, anyone else using both of these great equalizers?
this post has been brought to you by giddy excitement.

what shot are you gona be running?

imo, if you're gona do anything smaller than a 75, you should run a dry kit. a wet kit will probably cause you to go rich as fuck.

for one, you will be boosted and be running rich already, then when extra fuel is added from the kit, its gonna make you uber rich.

id prolly run a dry kit richen the map a bit to be on the safe side.

but this is all theoretical since i don't have any experience with nitrous on any applications.

id most likely be sticking with a 75 shot, and maybe just having the 50 shot on for dd. not sure though. as far as i understand it the wet kit does add fuel, but i thought that it ran just the right amount so as to avoid rich conditions, and i thought that this would stay the same even for someone with turbo. however, my knowledge in this area is limited as well, so im not sure.

make sure you get a good set of plugs and change the fuelpump and fpr

when i saw ''juiced'', i thought you meant hydraulics later.

ha, while i would guess that there is a turbo cb7 with hydraulics, my guess is still that there is no turbo cb7 with nitrous.
            i could be wrong however.

word, did that setup get you into the 12's? or was that on just 15 psi and no n2o? and 30 psi, man, just wow.

i never ran it on my old turbo setup.
with 12psi on my new motor i went 12.7 and with 15psi i went 12.5 but they were bad runs due to traction issues and misfire issues at the time...

I had the 14b setup for about a year. I ran 12psi for about 10months and 14-15psi for 2 months... One day an oilseal in the turbo decided to let loose, which sprayed oil in the intake, while i was boosting, causing oil induced detonation which broke my ringlands...

I planned on getting the Ntercooler later on down the line. Its like lazy man's N2O, no need for a retune.

one of the guys here backfire32 he's got turbo and spray not running spray till he get's it tuned though. and ^ that kit doesn't run anywhere near the improvement you get from nitrous anyways.

True. I debated running direct port, but that will definitely finish off my F22B (I already use 15psi on it as my aggressive boost). When H24 is complete, I will go direct port.
