Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I personally like the 3" exhaust system, but from the turbo back.

What kind of horsepower gains can you see by removing the cat? I mean, is it really worth it to be dumping unnecessary toxins into the atmosphere?

I guess its ok if the car isn't going to be a daily driver but doesn't seem necessary to me to remove the cat. I'm just being nature's bitch I guess.

i would get an evo3 housing for a 16g, has much better flow throughout. If i went with a 1g/2g, i would port it as much as possible to help with creep from that tiny wastegate path. (porting the 02 housing and turbine housing help solve the creep issue) They all bolt up the same tho...

I did 188/188 on the stock auto trans with like 180k on it, and i did a 15.2 @ 93 on my huge wheels....once i knew i was goin 5 spd, i started beatin the shit out of it, then bye bye. I would build an auto if you want any good numbers and the full potential of your setup to hit the ground...cuz i noticed a HUGE difference just from the swap alone.

im not sure about a 16g 02 housing fitting with an AC, cuz i had to grind my 2g housing to clear it before i removed my AC

you can use a 1g/2g, many people have. If it hits the AC line, try to bend it a little, and shave off a few mm's of the outside housing. trial and error is your best bet dude
