Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I used to have all four mounts (A properly placed turbo and prelude mount setup works great, but not for the dsm guys ) and never had any problems.
Then after I installed the traction bars, lost the front mount and left the other three mounts stock, I only got 3 months before the trans and rear mount were both tore.

Now I have all three filled and no issues at all.

I've got a sweet dyno video where my motor is all over the place with the three stock mounts, you can hear the the exhaust clanking around while the motors going all over

As for the original poster, I'd say swap to the lx/dx 5 spd setup in the rear, fill it, and see how it does. If after that there is still alot of movement, fill the sides.

Also, no one mentioned it, but being an auto car, the mounts won't take near the abuse, all your shifts are smooth, there preloaded when you launch, so mainly, the only time they will get stressed, is when you let out of full throttle.
I've actually been looking into built auto trannies and maybe use one in the future, driving a fast auto car is very fun to me, and much quicker to accelerate, with no real shifts or letting off the gas, so be sure to keep us updated on the build.

thnx for all the advice man. i just hit up the junk yard today and got the rear mount of a 5 speed(full mount w/ bracket) for $12 , and on that auto tranny work, i got in touch with LevelTen and a for full build i'll be looking at $2323 w/ me doing the work. what ima do is buy a nice transmission oil cooler and hook that up for now and keep up the tranny fluid changes while i start getting all the components together to build the tranny little by little

Once again, thnx a lot for the recommendations

              Yes, there is.

The dx/lx will be more common, cheaper to replace and possibly stronger. L8r
