Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Which would be better if built for boost.

Ok out of the "F's " which would be better once sleeved and new pistons for boost? Lately ive been all about the F22B cause on stock internals at about 8 psi it would be faster than an 8psi F22a. Im only going with a person from this board, I cant remember the guy (i think Bjaccord or something) that went low 13's on a stock block. Anyway i havent heard of a F22Ax that went 13's on a stock block...

Anyway well my question isnt about that however if you have any feedback on the first paragraph LMK. My thing is that eventually i want to buy a block (F22ax, F22bx or maybe im talking about the F23(Vtec) , or the F22B JDM) to sleeve and piston for a boost project. I guess my true question is which head is the best for turbo. I know a lot of the ppl are going to say that the F22Ax has an awsome free flowing head. But what about the DOHC F22B? or even then a vtec turbo>? If the bottom can handle it which would produce the most power?

BJAccord runs an H23. Dont waste your time on the F22B1. Either buy F22A or the JDM F22B. Anyway both can make power it depends on your turbo sizing and what other things you have done to it. Also tuning is a big factor. Starchland I think was running pretty close to 13s before his f22a blew up.

have you thought of the F20A DOHC...that motor is very rev happy...short stroke and very very smooth...its almost scary....u can't even feel the engine run....and if you get the transmission that comes with that motor u won't be dissapointed...very short gearing....I can drive around in 5th gear all day.

the H23 valvetrain parts match this head

Im seriously thinking of adding a turbo to my F20A DOHC
