Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Intercooler and bumper question

well guys i really want stock fogs, and also want a decent sized intercooler. is there any possible way i could keep the fogs and have the intercooler. like i could get a 10-11" high intercooler and cut the bottom of the bumper just to get it mounted in. i see chessboxer car and it looks really good with the intercooler and all, but i would like fogs too.

i had what looked like enough room to run OEM fogs when my intercooler was in, its more an issue of the piping routing than the size of the intercooler... heres what mine looked like when i had it in... theres plenty of room for the fog templates to be cut but with the bumper off you can see the piping runs right where the brackets would be

Flip the intercooler upside down and run the pipes through the radiator wall holes like a back door intercooler setup:

Mounting the bumper is a whole other issue. My issue at the moment is trying to position that intercooler as high as posible cause the inlet/outlets aren't position exactly at the very top/bottom edge of the endtanks of the intercooler like bresk8r87 intercooler.

That's the same idea I had. but look like his intercooler would be just like yours!

i would say get a same side like i did and the pipes run fine. But i never thought of flipping it upside down. That might work.

yeah, try that, as for my evo 8 intercooler, I ran them through there as well. I had to hack the fuck out of the inside of my bumper to make it fit however.
