Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    What to get first?

Hey guys right now in my engine i have a cold air intake and now i am looking for something to add with it. Im looking for not only performance but a nice sound to it not loud. So I was wandering should i get headers or cat-back exhaust first?

Then for headers what brand should i get and should i get chrome or ceramic?

Then for the exhaust what brand would you recommend?

If you want your engine to sound more aggressive without the chance of sounding too loud, go with the header. I would get the ceramic header because it is cheaper than a stainless steel one and also there is less maintenance involved i.e. polishing it al the dang time. If you want more performance and "sound/noise" after that, than get the exaust. You will probably eventually get the exaust anyway considering that it will complete the the air flow system.
