Hytech Header Dyno

Alrighty well i got my hytech and got it put on it dynoed out with 184 , i have a picture with my 182 run, you think thats about right, it sounds like it may have a exhuast leak, but im not sure, i thought i would be making more power, and i had it kinda tuned with a wideband on a dynojet, let me know what u guys think

it sounds like i have a exhaust leak but im not 2 sure, it was worth the money , with the right tuning the header will be 10x better than and other off the shelf header

I ran it about 2 months ago it put out 173@ the wheels then my baseline today was 171 so im thinking theres some kinda problem, so if u guys have any input that would be great, nonethe less i gained bout 10-13 hp from the header.. better than anything else i could have gotten, but ive read of people making 15-20, so i dunno what to do next

^^^ well said.. w/ some agressive cams, i'm pretty sure you'll easily hit the 200whp mark. and i'm just glad you got the header after waiting this long

So you are saying the car made 171 without the header and then you bolted it on and made 183?

That's pretty cool then I guess.

Diagnose if you have an exhaust leak, get it fixed and then tune the car, you could get some more power out of that header. Also, like some have said, better cams will take more advantage of this upgrade. It's all about how well the components work off each other, you can not expect to get max gains from one component when there it glitches elsewhere in your total system that need attention.

I think you still have some more ponies left to squeeze out keep us posted.
