Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Accel 300 plus

I have a AEM v1 CAI and need to make more performance upgrades ...I have autostart so when i push my keychain it starts the engine... i notice that sometimes it is a lil hesitant but not a big deal.... well anyways
i figure that i can eliminate this hesitation with better sparks to the engine... right now im running OEM wires and platinum plugs...but im doing research and in the market for iridium maybe from NGK and wires from accel... I went to autozone and saw a wide variety well 3 variety of accel... one says the accel 300 plus and its application is for race cars the gauge i beleive was 8.8 mm and i think the others were just 8 mm... i think im gonna go with these wires and iridium spark plugs from NGK
    Questions
-Did anyone notice any difference going from OEM to something like NGK wires or
    accel??
-will the accell 300 plus be put to good use in my car??
-platinum vs iridium...????.ill google this one
(sorry for any repeat thread..i did a search and see everyone is running NGK but i want to run accel )

might wanna check other things before you try to use mods to fix a problem. It could be your igniter, coil, oil in the spark plug tubes, loose connections, etc. Check those and if everything checks out then mod.

I have accel spiro core and there alright but this is my second set and im not completely satisfied with them. I would reccomend the stock NGK blue wires and NGK V-power plugs. Our motors were designed to use those exact components and there for should run the best on them.
