Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I would say get your throttle body bored:

Also get an A6 intake manifold and a PT6 ecu (off an A6)

                    you need to search more.
                    H.S.A.E.

90 CRX Si - gutted, caged, Bisi F2d kit, close ratio LSD trans, F22A6 - under construction

99 civic LX - y8 head and trans, lowered, blowing cold AC, and getting 35mpg.

In order to absolutely just get it up and running, you will need a new cam seal and a valve cover gasket. You would also be wise to change the Timing Belt, Balancer Belt and water pump while you are in there, unless they have been changed VERY recently. One thing that is good for a few extra HP is to remove the balancer belt altogether, and just leave the tensioner on there. you will have to put up with a little vibration, but it really isn't that noticeable.

If you want to squeeze a little bit of extra horsepower out of it after it is running, the next best things would be:

                      1) A throttle body (assuming you already have an intake)

                      2) A header or F22A4 exhaust manifold, if you don't already have one

                      3) An H23/JDM F22B or F22A6 Intake manifold and ECU

                      4) Something to enrichen the fuel mixture as necessary. (The above modifications should still be within the limits of the stock system, but could be pushing it, depending on how your fuel system is functioning.) Honda's generally run a little rich in the top end anyway, and the only real way to verify if you need to do this, or if your changes are helping, is with a dyno and a wideband O2 sensor. The "butt dyno" will not be effective here at all (is it ever).

From there, you can build a bottom end and bump up compression etc, but that is another topic entirely.
