Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    How would this sound?

    I have the N1 style on my Accord now and I do not like the sound of it. Will this be less raspy and have a better tone??? Please give me some feedback...

    Since i see ebay then all im gonna say is that you get what you pay for as thats what everyone else says. Me personally have not heard anyone run an ebay muffler so i cant say. And i think this might have been covered a while back might want to search for it.

      im runnin an obx twin loop with a resonator and its extremely queit until i get on it.

        i'm guessing you had custom piping done from a muffler shop.. and it sounds like a lawnmower, tin cans rattling, or a constant buzzing, droning sound ??

        you have a couple options.. get a longer resonator installed in the mid-pipe OR spend the extra cash and buy yourself a bolt-on exhaust such as:
        - Apexi WS2
        - Greddy SP2
        - RS*R

        that ebay muffler you posted isn't gonna fix nothing, probably sound the same too.

          actually its all 2.5" stainless

          2.5" Pipes all the way back to the muffler also has about an 18" resonator b4 the N1.

          All bolt on too!

            Your problem is with your "cat" and muffler. It's N1 stlye. What'd you expect. Get a factory replacement or good aftermarket cat put on and use that muffler you found on eBay and you'll do fine. It's not the best muffler in the world but it's OBX so it's a little bit better.

              Might I suggest another resonator!>? That will def help or buy a magnaflow or Greddy muffler! That would also help!
