Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

      I can not comment on this, as I'm awaiting my H23 plenum to return from Dave at DH-Racing. I'll also have to see how it does when the project comes together.

        from what ive seen and read dave hickmans parts are more legit than alot of the name brand companies. idk if i would give you 20 to the wheels but probably pretty close

        however i can in no way truly vouch becuase ive never owned any of his parts i think the only person on this site that has is the man right above me

          i have seen just as much bad things about DHR as any other company. I also do not believe that on a stock engine you will see 20 hp gains with ANY manifold. I am very anxious to see the results on the dyno, though a before and after will not happen i bet...unless he wants to pay for tuning twice.

              youd probaly see 25+whp in a V6 or something. but not a 4 banger. a turbo or supercharger is about the only thing that would yield you that muc or more to the wheels on an i4.

                Is it a fully custom, made from scratch piece, or does he just port it? I could believe this if it's the former, but definitely not the latter.

                Has anyone considered the OBX H23 manifold? I feel like with longer runners it could put up some nice numbers, even over the H23/A6 combo. And it's only about $200 shipped.

                    i agree with that. I woudl bet on this:

                    engine has a cam, high compression pistons, a good header, a cold air intake and stock manifold/TB...then you upgrade the manifold and TB and tune it you see 20-25 whp.

                      probibly just a general statment about possible power gain but it could be tuned to make the power

                        I will receive the H23 plenum finally from Dave, hopefully within one week, which will complete the H23 runners I've had from him for a while. My DH-Racing intake manifold is a modified H23 manifold. I will post the plenum pics in my white Accord project thread (click my signature link for pics/briefing on project). The plenum will mate to a 74-69mm tapered custom billet throttle body.

                        I will be installing ALL my performance parts at once on the white Accord so I can not tell you how much I gained from the DH-Racing H23 manifold alone.

                        That's all I can say for now.
