Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    N/A H23 project

I just need to know any issues I may have with the following build:

    -H23 block and head
-Oversized Type S pistons (.25mm over) So I can start with fresh metal in the cyliders
    -Crower stage 1 cams
    -adjustable cam gears
    -port and polish

With the slightly more aggressive cam, will there be any clearance issues with the high comp type s piston?

The cylinders are FRM sleeves, Not metal.

        Do some math.

I doubt anyone's done this type of build before(with the exact parts) so no one can give you a solid answers, only theories.

          Get it clayed

I know with the H22 head your setup would have about 12:1 compression. I'd go with regular 87mm H22 pistons

Are you sure about that? From what I been hearing lately all the h23's have frm sleeves. They were only made from 92-95 anyways. The h22's have the open deck and closed deck story in the years. And the journal size issue with the one year

all h series have frm sleeves, id be worried about over boring that much, I believe h23s have a 86mm bore and h22s 87mm, then if you want to get overbored h22 pistons im pretty sure you wouldnt have much sleeve left, i would go for stock sized h22 pistons.
