Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Direct port on H22

Ok, so my winter plans have changed so I plan on doing an h22 swap, and I want to use my existing zex 82021 nitrous kit. But here's my thinking, is to use that kit, and buy the nozzles and line to run direct port. But, here's where i'm thinking different, instead of mounting the nozzles on the top, tap the nozzles on the bottom of the manifold, so they can't be seen.
So i need to order all the lines and nozzles, but what jets will I need to get the equivelent of a 75 shot? p.s. it is a wet nitrous kit

well i looked on zex's site.
right now i got the 82021, and i love it.
i looked at all the stuff i'd need to go to direct port, and if i paid retail here's the breakdown....
            4 wet nozzles $76 each = $304
            8 braided lines (2ft) $24 each = $192
            2 distribution blocks $16 each
= $528 before misc connectors, and jets!
a brand new ZEX direct port nitrous kit is only $600.

so i gotta see if i can get this stuff cheaper, otherwise i'll scrap that idea. i'm thinking i can make my own hard lines, and flare them, and get the right connectors for probably under $30, just alot of work. dry nozzles are only $10 each, so thats an option too, but i'd rather go wet....
lots to think about, we'll see!

yea, you mean changing the jets?

i think what i'm gonna do is do this, and just plumb all my own hard lines with solid metal brake line
