Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Short answer .. no you wont mess up your engine

You could run a 50 shot a lot before it would even begin to mess stuff up... if you do things right. Just make sure you get colder plugs and retard the timing a degree or two. You might also want to look into getting a new fuel pump. You also have to always run the highest octance fuel available. If you do all that then you could probably run it for a few years without problems... a lot of people have. If you have an automatic your transmission will give out way before your engine. I'm going to hook up my 75 shot within a month so you can send me a pm in a month or so and make sure I haven't blown up my engine

Well if you ever plan on upping the shot then definitely get a wet kit. Dry kits are going to be cheaper and a little easier to install. I have a wet kit though so I'm going to be a little biased and say you should get one of those. They are just supposed to be safer.

Zex really isn't that great of a kit. Nitrous Express is way better.
