Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Do a compression check before you go deep into it but sure is your motor in peak shape? Have you retarded the timing by 2 degrees, have you changed your fuel filter, sparkplugs to a step colder for good spark. And last but not least and most importantly change your stock fuelpump to a 255lph and your fuelpresure regulator get an aftermarket one. Or else youll end up like me back when i blew my shit up. I whopped the head lovely.

There's really not much to it. Just go threw all the maintance items like plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, make sure all of that is in good shape and of course always run premium fuel.

Get yourself a timing light or get to someone that does (and knows how to use it) and retard your ignition a degree and test drive the car. Retarding the ignition makes the car driver worse when N/A so what I would do is first do a pull with the nitrous with no retard and see if you get detonation. Detonation sounds like quarters in a tin can being rattled around. If you hear a noise like that when you spray turn the spray off and retard the ignition one degree and try again.

Zex states for the 65 shot to retard 2 degrees but they are just being really safe. They don't want anyone destroying there engine and blamming it on them since they expect most people running N2O in Hondas probably have some sort of chip that advances timing. So they're just covering their ass.

Those dry shots won't kill your engine if you fallow the directions properly.

Imo From personal experience you can rock with it if your on a tight budget and lookin for a little thrill. Just rock the 55shot for a minute make sure all the lines are tight. You dont need any fuel mods. BUt make sure you have colder plugs I use the zex plugs they are just right for the kit.

Also when you goin into the 65-75shot retard the timing -2 degrees for the 65 and minus -4 for the 75 and DONT I REPEAT DONT SPRAY UNTIL YOU HIT 3k rpms. Then make sure you get the fuel pressure reuglaor with the gauge to monitor it and a 255 fuel pump. Then make sure you change the oil and keep the fuel system and ignition system in tip top shape and your ready to rape. GOTTA love dat torque cause you wont be gettin traction like that lol.

timing blah blah timing blah blah

55 shot is for small children. i mean fuck man!!!

i've ran probably 10 bottles of the 75 shot through my jdm h22a with absolutely NO igntion retarding what so ever. i have even ran 2 bottles of the 100hp shot with no timing retard either. did a compression check the other day. and man my motor is solid as a rock. but yes to run high hp shots like this you do need the mods to support it(and the tires lol).

                i have walboro 255 intank fuel pump/ aem fuel pressure regulator/dsm 440cc injectors/ msd sci ignition/ zex 2 stage colder plugs/ 10.3mm wires/ a/f gauge/and an A'PEXi VAFC II

just don't be stupid with the shit and your motor will hold up.

247.2whp JDM H22A w/75shot and few other bolt ons lol
281.6whp w/100hp wet shot and 110 octane race fuel
