Similar to the TEIN EDFC only with wireless communication, I'm assuming. This will be able to adjust the dampening levels from inside the cabin as opposed to going out and turning dials.Originally posted by mcdizzle View Posthas anyone else hear of the wi-damp system theyre developing. mainly any recent news on a possible release date for it? incase your wondering what it is its a wireless electronic dampening system that they are developing. i will definitely be picking it up as soon as its released.
They say sometime late this year to early next year. As far as F2 goes, they are usually late on their release dates, but I would expect to see them released sometime around February.
It is certainly a nice luxury and makes it much easier to change the dampening, however, I would rather see some serious R&D go into a continuously adjusted, electronically controlled dampening system that made changes on the fly based on feedback from the coilover. Develop that, and I'll gladly shell out 5g's.Last edited by Tnwagn; 11-06-2008, 01:52 PM.

is that the actually expected price for the system? if so then this idea is gettin nixxed off my list. id much rather just walk around the car and change the dampening levels then spend 5gs on something. id just like to have this for in between runs at autocross when id want to adjust my settings.Originally posted by Tnwagn View PostSimilar to the TEIN EDFC only with wireless communication, I'm assuming. It better not cost that much! The TEIN EDFC costs around $350, so I would expect the Wi-Damp to come in somewhere around $400-$500.Originally posted by mcdizzle View Postis that the actually expected price for the system? if so then this idea is gettin nixxed off my list. id much rather just walk around the car and change the dampening levels then spend 5gs on something. id just like to have this for in between runs at autocross when id want to adjust my settings.
I just threw out that number for a fully capable, electronically controlled system. It's in no way related, but I'm not too keen on a little gadget to change levels wirelessly. However, I can see how some may have use for this system or find it worth the cost.
