    2.50 -3.00 drop on what?

I'm planning on doing a 2.5 to 3 inch drop since tax returns supposed to be up there for me. But I was just gonna use the stock shocks/struts. I know it won't end in anything good so what would be suggested? I don't wanna spend a shit load of money but I want a reliable brand. Thanks.

Wait, were you wanting to know about shocks or springs?
At first I thought you were referring to shocks, but now I think you may want to know about springs.

If you're wanting coilovers, you could get Function and Form Type-I coilovers for about $600 on WekSos.

Blown shocks, rough and bouncy ride, unsafe.

True coilovers (1 piece spring and shock) or coilover sleeves on top of stock shocks?

That's the last thing I'd recommend doing.

You're going to have a terrible ride.

                          Depends on your price range.
But, the 3 shocks I listed in the second post will withstand drops.

Do not go that low on any stock replacement struts/shocks as Josh explained. Dont rush into getting suspension without doing a extreme research 1st

Better to do it right the first time.
