Safe to use poly Spring Isolators in the rear?

I remember reading that using poly bushings in the rear will mess up the car because the rear end needs to flex. This being the case i was wondering if it was safe to use rear poly spring isolators for the upper spring seat in the rear. I'll use an oem bottom spring seat from the dealer.

Who made them? I've read alot of the "cons" that you get w/ poly, and I am going to have to disagree 100%. I've had great success w/ all my Prothane bushings, and some not so great success w/ "hard rubber" bushings. I say run them, if anything, it'll make the transfer of force to the spring more direct, but you would prob. not be able to feel it though.

Only problem I see with poly bushings is the binding that it causes. Does anyone make spherical rod ended arms for our cars?
