    Spring spacers

I am looking for spring spacers or anything that will raise the rear of the car.

I have equal drop spring front to rear. I have kyb agx front struts (drop killers) and a different brand in rear. Everything is new and correctly installed but my drop looks like this (not my car) I have a fifth gen accord

I am looking for extended top hats or a rubber coil spacer.. I just cant find anything

Your suspension will have no travel, it will handle very poorly, it will be unsafe, bouncy and harsh as hell, loose stability and control.

That won't be stiff...it will be hard, basically like riding on metal blocks instead of springs, it has no function, complete loss of function and a completely horrible thing to do to your car.

You solution...is to get the proper suspension and not ghetto rig your current suspension.

well sorry to re direct you but have you ever did this to your car?, I dont know about yours if you did, but mines still feels stock and rides just the same, no stiffness wat so ever only difference is i sit higher than stock, and they are from autozone so aint like i just put anything in there, and this pic is old, i have 5 gaps filled from the bottom with the coils at the top, so it rides even smoother and he doesnt even need this many, just two will help him in his situation, im putting 20s with a huge offset on

...I would never do that to my car...nor should ANYone.

I can tell by looking at it that it's a bad idea...I don't have to "try" it as it's common sense really. Where you put those metal "spacers" you've basically made the spring solid. It doesn't matter how it "feels", you are biased as it's your "mod" Take that on a road that isn't perfectly smooth and you will have poor poor maneuverability

Sounds like the perfect suspension setup for the drag strip.

well there are things you can do on a drag car that are not good ideas for a street cars...two different machines completely

But are they metal, or something somewhat more compliant?

Sometimes you just have to have things custom made. Spacers like that should be easy and not too expensive...

With spacers, don't forget that the top of the spring will need to be laterally retained in order that it remain concentric with the damper shaft.

don't know don't care......it doesn't matter. This all seems like arguing for the wrong springs/suspension setup...and why are we doing that? I understand they are on the car already and new springs cost dough...but come on...really? The top mount "extension" seems the only viable option for safety sake...I guess would serve that same purpose as height adjustable coilovers and function similarly. Unless this isn't a street car?

The spacers are ghetto rigging and shouldn't be done...do it right or don't. Jamming stuff in between the springs ???

I call garbage on the spacers...don't care if they are "professionally" CNC machining produced or "custom" hand made...it's a ghetto fix...and not even a fix at that.
