Yesterday me and my dad were going over my car to figure out what it needs to get it through its inspection. Well when i showed him the ABS tank i asked if the brake fluid in it looked good ( kind of brownish ). My dad said its a bit dirty. Anyways i went to check the Brake cylinder near the fire wall ( main brake cylinder i cant remember the name of it ). Anyways my dad said " Theres no point in checking that its the same fluid as the other system they are connected. Well this brings me to my question. Are the ABS tank and the normal tank connected considering its all one system? Also should i replace that brake fluid?

when the system is active the fluids to cross into each other, but for most situations i think they are separate tanks.
i had dark black fluid in the master cylinder after the track, but my abs fluid still looked like brand new fluid. and when i bled the brakes in normal order the only fluid that ran through the system was the stuff in the brake master cylinder.
so yeah replace the brake fluid, that black stuff in the master cylinder is whats stopping youEngines hate me... thats why they commit suicide
