I don't know how low your springs will drop you, but I have read several places that you should not drop these shock slower than 1.5"
I bought mine used with megan racing coilover sleeves, and the guy before me had his cd5 slammed to the max for about a year, and you can see on my sig how low I am running them, and the rears are blown. So watch out!

One of those places would be the instructions that come with the shocks themselves. The warranty is void when lowered more than 1.5". They can tell by the wear on the piston. They are not made to be lowered significantly. Technically, they're adjustable stock replacements.
The adjustability on AGXs is pretty lame. I had them, and it went from "not soft enough" to "not hard enough". Those were the extreme settings.
If you set it too hard, you run a higher risk of blowing them out. I usually had them on 2 in the front, and 5 in the back.
If you blow them... get Koni Yellows. The difference is night and day.
