Why would you want to stretch tires on either 17 or 18 inch rims?

thats the way of being flush.

if you do it right, it'll turn out right. but you cant just stretch tires on the rims and pull of the look. you have to also roll your fenders properly. if not, just like a bad paint job, it'll look like arse.

On the topic but not the answer to the question:

Why is that considered flush? The rims stick out past the body and the rims stick out more than the tires. To me, flush means lines up perfectly. This trend is none of those things. If houses were built with this definition of flush, they would be very f'd up.

Its a trend. Can't wait for it to fade away. I like my sidewalls to work like sidewalls.

the lip of the rim is flush with the body of the car. i know it doesnt make sense. neither does being slammed. but its a way of life. lmao. there are different aspects of the tuner world. those who want power. those who want looks. and those who want both. the wrong fitment and stanced folks are the one for looks.

im sure it wont. just like being slammed. everyone all said that would disappear. it hasnt. its still there. as long as low offset and wide rims get made, they'll be flush, stanced, and wrong fitment.

But to me, not even the rim is flush with the fender line, so the term flush still does not apply. Sure, maybe 1 out of 10 cars has it that way, but it seems to be more of an exception than a rule.

Dump it, put silly offset rims, and a roofrack but don't actually ride a bike.

                    Instant cool!
