Bushings - Rubber or Urethane for DD?

What's better rubber or urethane for a daily driver, through the Canadian winter too. I heard the urethane will last longer but will squeak more. Could anyone post their thoughts please?

If you can find hard rubber those are supposed to be awesome. Hard to come by though. As for poly, they're great but require having lubrication. Make sure and buy the black ones that are impregnated with graphite.

Poly is the best material for a daily driver bushing imo.
You get reduced compliance which makes the ride slightly harder, but increased response is worth it. As JJ said the graphite impregnated black bushings when installed properly will not squeak. I have almost the full set on my car, and havent heard a squeak in 5k miles....

the squeaking will go away with time. I honestly felt minimal difference with polyurethane bushings on my DD, maybe because i didnt try to autocross public streets. As far as ride quality it felt a little more stiff.

Poly, prothane to be exact, not a single problem or a squeak for a long time and I'm talking over 70K miles too. Hard rubber is good for a pivot bushing, but not an impact bushing (as I call it) like a strut mount w/ higher spring rates.
