    KYB GR-2 shocks/struts

well, its now time for me to purchase a suspension set up.

I'm looking to buy some decient products, not top of the line, but nothing shitty either. Right now I want H&R Sport springs. I am not sure of what shocks to get though.

Does anyone on here have KYB GR-2 shocks. they are only 155 dollars and thats a good deal for me. I was wondering if anyone's heard good or bad things about them. I am also considering getting the Tokico Blue shocks if there is a lot of bad feedback about the KYB ones. I don't really have the budget to go higher then that because I'm saving for the H22.

So yeah, if anyone had any experiance with these that would be great.

Well the Gr2's are just a stock replacement strut, which isnt really made for lowering, but i have a friend that has those along with ground control coilovers, pretty much as low as he can get his coilovers to go and they havent blown out yet, but that doesnt mean that yours wont, but considering that your going with springs i'm sure you'll be fine hopefully someone else posts and voiced their opinion.

GR-2 are a little more aggressive than stock, ive got a friend that has them on his S14, and they ride very nice.

Get the Tokico Blues if nothing else. You will hear people tell you the GR-2's are ok, but they really only have so much they can take. Definately shoot for the AGX's if you can.

He meant stiffness. I'm currently running kyb Gr-2's with neuspeed race springs. It works fine and hasn't blown. But if you can go for kyb agx or koni yellows. I'm hoping to buy agx or yellows soon.

what do you mean the shocks say no vtec? Like on the site? That's probaly because no 4thgen accord had vtec so there saying this shock can only be used on 4th gen accords, not the newer ones vtec. That's my guess.

Hey, I got AGX's up front with Arospeed Coilovers. I have a two finger gap drop, which is roughly 2.2 inches and the ride is awesome. It rides so much better than stock. All I need now is a sway bar and a strut bar and i will be set. By the way, I have them set at 4, which makes my ride oooooooo sssssoooooo gooood. None of that horrible bouncy ride that most people have. So yea, theres my experience with them, hoped I helped out in any way.

Yea.. not that anyone cares or anything, but I finally bought KYB AGX shocks and struts, and H&R Sport springs.. I'm gonna throw them at the same time I throw on my 17" Motegi gunmetal MR7's... I can't wait til the snow goes away and I can throw this shit on my ride...

I care! Post it up in the rate your suspension thread once you have everything on. I am always curious as to what everyone thinks about their suspension setup.
