    rear disc conversion problem

hey guys im having a little problem with my rear disc swap. it seems that the through bolt that goes in the lower control arm is not long enough. has any one encountered this problem?... (im using the bolt form my drum set up)
also whats the easiest way to run the ebrake line from the outside in to the car?

You will need to go to the jy and grab a lower long bolt from a ex or se with disc break, i try that before i did my swap i tryed to use the bolt from a drum break setup and nope to short.

did you get the whole rear disk trailing arm and cables for the swap? I dont think that you can use the trailing arm from the rear drums, at least i kno i didnt when i did the swap on my CB

Oh ok I thought so, ok so I need a longer bolt from the disc setup. Thanks

And yea I have the whole trailing arm and everything just not the bolt.

I can also probably get the bolt at a parts store like Napa or autozone right?

                Anytime man

Are you doing the 4040 prop valve as well? I was going to but i ended up stripping one of the lines (the longest one to the pass side) that goes into my factory prop

I think that ill be leaving the prop valve alone. For right now at least.

Update. Turns out I have 5 the Gen rear disc setup. -___- so it is a longer bolt.

Well has anyone had any problems converting a 5th Gen rear disc to 5 lug?
I already have the prelude hubs on it.

I have 5th gen rear disc's on mine and the bolt is about 1 1/2 inches longer.
The problem I'm having with the swap is if you use the 4th gen lower control arms they spread out a little. which seems to be causing some camber and toe problems alignment wise. I'm just going to swap to a 5th gen rear sub frame.

One thing to note is the 4th gen lower control arms have removable sleeves/shims that go on the spindle where as the 5th gen are not removable.
I could be wrong but i know the chopped off 5th gen control arms i had the sleeve/shim did not move at all.

yeah i went to the junk yard and picked up 5th gen bolt and it worked out.
and yes the control arm does spread out and mess with the alignment but my camber kit took care of the camber and everything else was set to spec
