      That's a radius rod.

Sometimes places will call it a strut rod as well.

Is there any instructions on how to remove it? It seems that the bolt is hidden damn well under the plastic. And I couldn't find anything on replacing it.

Removal really isn't bad at all. Do not remove the bumper cover, all you need to yank is the splash guard. I think it's a total of 7 10mm headed bolts/screws IIRC. You'll then want unbolt the 17mm nut @ the x-member while the 2 bolts are in the LCA, that will keep the rod from turning. If there's rust on the exposed threads spray oil on them before loosening the nut. Take the nut off, then do the 2 @ the LCA, slide the rod out but keep track of the bushings, spacers and washers! When the front end is in the air and if it's hard to fit the 17mm deep socket to undo the front nut, just preload/jack up under the LCA, that will tip the rod down so it's straight and not up.

Thanks yea that bolt under the splash guard was my main concern.
