    Stock height good strut/spring assembly.

    Hi guys,
I have 1990 Accord LX. I am not looking to lower. I just want to replace my stock strut/spring assembly all 4 wheels. I want to get them already assembled so I just have to put them in. What do you guys recommend? I have a budget of less than $600 for all 4.
What other parts while I am there, do you recommend to replace also.

    Thanks.

What FCS stands for? Have you tried them or some one you know did?
      Thanks.

Monroe also has a Quick Strut Assembly set. I bought a set for my mother's car and they rode very well.

I was reading around and some of the reviews say these don't last more than 30K miles. How many miles do you have on those already?
          Thanks.

About 2 years. She drives about 12-15k miles per year. I didn't know about the bad reviews. They're working well so far.

Don't go with Sen-Sen. I made that mistake with my 91 Lx about 4 years ago.

You have any other brand suggestions?
                Thanks.

Did you have any trouble installing them? I read that you have to cut the notch to fit the brake line on, but that was on the Corollas, did your CB7 has a problem? Or was it a perfect fit?
                  Thanks.

Monroe is what I replaced the Sen-Sen's with 3 years ago. No issues since. Used Monroe shocks on two other vehicles over the years and never had an issue with their products on those vehicles either. Also remember pretty happy with the price.

Edit... I guess the brand would be "Unity". This may even be the same seller I got mine from. http://www.ebay.com/itm/90-93-Honda-...c6757a&vxp=mtr

Idk much about them. But they still seem to be holding up well. Actual Monroe brand would almost undoubtedly be better IMO.

I went with Monroe on my coupe, I would buy them again for my wagon if they made them, price was right and performance was what you'd expect from a factory strut, it's not a custom tuned suspension but it's as good as it was from the factory 23 years ago.

a neighbor who had a cb got them and they were easy to install and rode pretty nice

he moved so i don't know how they are doin now

FCS is like a lower priced version of Monroe but alot and I mean alot of repair shops are getting the brand for customer cars

What if I want to lower it no more than 2", what economical options do I have? My work has some tall nasty speed bumps.
                          Thanks.

If you don't have a want/need for an adjuster that you really don't know is working, you can't go wrong with a Bilstein HD(B6). The part # sold in the US is actually the Sport model for the 90-97 Wagons that is sold in Europe. It has a shortened shock shaft by about an inch, and I can confirm they work very, VERY well. I've ran Koni's on previous cars and these Bilsteins work much better 99% of the time, including autocross.

How expensive are these? Do these come preassembled?
                              Thanks.
