for the front suspension to creak in the cold? I got the 92 LX Sedan as a hand-me-down when my mom got an 02 Civic. Shes kept track of every maintenance thing shes ever had done and absolutely nothing about the suspension is in there. Everything is still stock (and will probably stay that way) so right now Im thinking I need to get new shocks or springs up front. Anybody got any ideas? What could be the problem? What the best shocks/springs are? (no lowering, unless its just an inch or so, nothing major)

I think it is pretty normal for your suspension to be a little creaky if it's cold outside or you get it really wet. It will be especially bad if your car sits for a while. It may be alright, but check out your car and make sure it's not leaning on any spot because you could have one or more blown components.
