Im looking at buying the extreme springs that drop about 3 inches or should I just get the 2.25 inch ones. I dont know if the extremes will cause any problems with rubbing or tear up anything else in the suspension. I am running 215-45-17's and have KYB AGX's.

Thats what I was thinking and it just seems more pratical to do the 2.25 drop then the 3.25.1991 Black Accord Coupe

honestly bud, you really need to do some more research if you are so distressed between the two sprint spring options.Originally posted by Sthrnba711Im looking at buying the extreme springs that drop about 3 inches or should I just get the 2.25 inch ones. "tear up", what do you mean by that? speaking from personal experience, my UCA's only banged for a short period of time until they wore a groove in the fender well. since then, no noise that i find to be an annoyance.
check out rickyduckworth's old member's ride thread with the maroon coupe. he ran the extremes mated to the agx's. id run that shit all day long NO MATTER the circumstances, daily driven or not....but thats just me. three inches isnt really that much; check out ANYONE dumped on full coilovers; i.e. uncle_el, timmy0tool, drlove and the like.
do what you do.

I know that 3 inches isnt a lot but didnt know if i would start to rub tires without rolling the fenders or bang the UCA's. I also dont want to throw of my camber too much that if cant be corrected by the camber kit that I already have insatlled1991 Black Accord Coupe

with 215's you might rub on full blown u-turns, but that is to be expected. i rubbed w/ my 205 tires on 6.5 inch wide wheels but i didnt mind.Originally posted by Sthrnba711I know that 3 inches isnt a lot but didnt know if i would start to rub tires without rolling the fenders or bang the UCA's. toe is what you really need to be worried about though alignment wise.

Yeah toe is the killer. I'm about 3" lower all around...my back tires are wearing in beautifully; the fronts are all out of spec because one of my control arms is bent from a killer pothole. As long as you get an alignment where they fix the toe you should be fine.

how can you say that 3in inst streetable. i drive my car daily i dont have no problems at all. maybe speed bumps and steep driveways and even my own driveway. heres a pic of my car on 18s, no front camber, only the washer trick, 3.25in drop.Originally posted by mondojackaljust go with the 2.25 one..it still looks good once you have wheels..
3 just isnt streetable..you wouldnt be able to take any bad roads at all...and speed bumps would kill ur car..even the little ones
