Just put a set of bilstein shocks on the car and im trying to figure out why the front is now a half a finger lower and the rear is a lot higher. I'm dropped on Neuspeed Race Springs and front/rear inglas camber kits....anyone have any idea why theres a difference now?? I had the alignment done and the camber readjusted, im thinking it has something to do with the damn camber or something

How are you measuring the ride height?
You can't use tire-to-fender gap, because the fender radii are different front and rear.2003 Maxima SE Titanium Edition

My car's ride height gets screwy just from having it on jackstands for a few hours. They might just need time to re-settle. I'd get the alignment specs checked out anyway though.

i just noticed that the one wheel they didn't mess with (as far as camber adjustments) is compeletly fine. I'm thinking the guys had no idea what they were doing and im just taking back to the guys that adjusted it in the past.....hopefully i can get some money back from the shit ass alignment. Once the camber is where its supposed to be it should be ok.........unless you guys think otherwise

Bilsteins will lower the front a small amount. They put the spring perch a little lower than OEM...Originally posted by Junior SmurffNevermind guys, google search works wonders!
I don't have road rage, my car just goes faster than yours!

I seen yours and its decent but it looks lowwwwwwwwwwwwwwOriginally posted by i97suprattiNeuspeed Race springs lower the front 2.2" and the rear 2.0". The rear is alittle higher than the front. I guess it's to compensate for having a load in the trunk, or people in the backseats. When I had my system in the trunk, it was as low as the front.

I've had the Neuspeeds on there for over a year and ive never had a problem until now. The KYB agx's i had were fine until one blew, then i got the bilsteins and all was fine until the car had the alignment done.....now my front control arm is hitting the wheel well and the rear is till way high (its been 3 days). I have no idea what could be doing this at all, and the alignment place i went to won't give me any money back
I'm supposed to take it to another suspension specialist today, we'll see what they find
Just an fyi: The rear has one more finger of wheel gap now and the front dirver side is less than one while the front pass side is about two......it used to be two up front and 2.5 in the back......and the control arm never hit before

AGX has a habit of keeping the car higher than it should be. You will be lower going from AGX to non-AGX struts.Originally posted by vmchurchI've had the Neuspeeds on there for over a year and ive never had a problem until now. ok so if AGX keeps the car higher and i should be lower with the bilsteins, any ideas as to why the back end is higher and the front is only lower on one side?? Could it be that one of my ball joints is shot? Honestly, besides the control arm hitting i notice nothing out of the ordinary when driving it

vmchurch, you might be able to eye-ball each camber adjustment and see if the two sides are different from each other --- or some shop should be able to.
You should also be able to eye-ball each spring to ensure each is properly in its respective perch. While you're at it you might take a gander at each lower shock bushing. If for example one is really bad it'll lower that side a tiny amount.
I don't know why one side would otherwise be lower --- but don't necessarily take the fact that only one side is rubbing to mean that it's lower. It could be that the other side is thisclose to rubbing as well but you just haven't hit the right bump yet.
And remember, you went from shocks that raise the car a little bit from stock to some that lower it a little from stock --- so even with the same springs you might have lowered the car an inch or more than just the spring drop itself.
As far as the back higher (now) than the front, that answer is in there also.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
