    tein basic coilover questions?

I've been debating whether I should get the eibach sportline/koni yellow setup or get the basic coilovers from tein.I just wanna know from people who have the tein basic coilovers about the ride, problems they experienced, and are those struts that come with the tein anygood?.I like the basic coilover because of the ride height adjustability.any input will b greatly appreciated.

well to me tein's overrated, its just a popular name there are a lot of other basic coilover systems for a better price. The Tein basic's aren't damper adjustable so u can just adjust the height only. Friend of mine has them on his car..they get pretty bouncy at times. If u really want Tein's save up for the SS or better. If ur on a budget i'd look into Ksport or Nex coilovers so u can adjust height and damper for a go0d price

not too much after they settle in, they're good basic coilovers but its go0d to have the best of both worlds to adjust height and dampering

Ask sublime....I think he had a set of tein Basics. To my knowledge basics arent that bouncy at all. I rode in my buddies with Tein SS in his EG felt nice. Wasnt too soft wasnt too stiff. It was perfect. Omnis on the other hand are pretty damn stiff especially the drag coil over. The street/sport coil over by omnis are alright but still stiffer. But I wouldnt mind me a set. Personally I dont care about ride. If anyone complains they can gtfo of my car. But why Teins are so expensive testing, how they are made, and the rep. Basically plus you have to import them from Japan which does probably add to the price. But Teins are a nice setup if you can afford it.

ive had both ss and basics. the basics are like the ss on 2 clicks down from half. They are excellent for sporty driving.
