    bent suspension

a few months back i crashed my car into a curb.

it bent the tire back so far that tire is almost touching the fender on the passenger side. (it actually did hit the fender when i hit the curb and it creased the fender and bent it back so i cant open the pass. side door.

i seen that the control arm was bent so i replaced that and one of the bolts that bolts what i believe to be the sway bar to it because it was bent as well, and it is still in the same place, but the control arm was bent quite a bit.

i'm wondering why it is that its still bent.

I've heard that it could be the strut tower. I currently have both tires off compairing sides and it doesn't really look like its bent, although it does def. look like it is coming down at an angle towards the rear.

    any ideas?

all u have to do is look what was the bent portion was attached to, everything else along that line would probably need replacment, the caster (radius) arm may need to be replaced, and possibly where that bolts on to as well.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

its not something you can look at and say hey yea it is bent.. no you need to take it to a body shop and have them measure from the right points.. you probly bent the frame. or the strut tower is pushed in. either way you're fucked. its gonna cost at least $1500. without parts!!
